	Feb 14, 2000: If you upgrade to Red Hat 6.2, you will have to be recompile kcd again due to incompatibilities in the ncurses library.

	kcd 4.11.2 is released on Jan 11, 2000. It provides work-around to compile and run on Red Hat 6.0 & 6.1 systems. Statically linked binary is no longer available for download. (kcd 4.7.x is not planned since the affected systems have already provided compilers suitable for building kcd 4.11.x versions.)
	A statically linked kcd 4.11.1 binary is available for i586 platform.
	kcd does not work on Red Hat 6.0 & 6.1 systems (and all derived distributions) since they come with ncurses 4.2 that is not built to support C++ applications . kcd will display the error message kcd: your ncurses library is bad. Refer to kcd README file for solution and abort. The problem should be fixed once a correctly built ncurses 5.0 rpm become available.
	ncurses 5.0 is released. It is now in GNU main FTP site. Check here for a list of mirror sites.
	kcd 4.11.1 is released on Aug 31, 1999
	kcd 4.7.11 is released on Sep 6, 1999
	kcd 4.11.0 is available on Sep 1, 1999. The update to the stable version of kcd will be available for download shortly.
	A new development version of kcd, version 4.11.0 is released on Mar 27, 1999. It is targeted for egcs or gcc-2.8.x users. The current branch 4.7.x will still be maintained for bug fixes only. No new featured will be added to the current version.
